(food)Review: JustGreatStuff bar, Organic Superberry Acai

Here we have another healthy snack review, brought to you by the July Conscious Box. Conscious Box often includes healthy raw snacks such as this one, and I'm pretty sure they're always vegan as well. The box is really great for those with allergies and restricted diets looking to discover new goodies.

Anyway, I asked Fluttershy to do this review with me but she was being a little shy, so I guess you guys are just going to have to put up with me. This bar tastes a lot like an adult fruit snack, with little hints of something else because of the unique berries such as goji and acai. The goji taste is probably what you'll notice the most, so if you're not a fan of goji, I would give it a miss. Even though cashews are first on the ingredients list, it looks and tastes like more fruit than cashews. If you've had a Larabar, think of that, except twice as soft.

As you can see from the nutrition facts and ingredients, this bar is great for natural energy before a workout, during a hike, or as a snack. There's not a whole lot of protein so it's probably more appropriate for a cardio or endurance workout, unless if you supplement with a drink or another bar. Another great thing about this bar is that it includes superfoods and uses non-white sugar, so it's a nice, guilt-free, sweet snack.

All in all, it's just a great healthy snack and a great tasting bar. Get some!
